It has reopened under new ownership and we’re so excited to see this come back to the village.The Big Tree used to be one of best places celebrate , time with friends, a special event or a great meal. “ We made reservations for an early dinner at the Big Tree Inn on Saturday before we went to a show at the Riviera. It was our first visit to both. We did not stay in the rooms. The Inn is a quaint look back at the past. You could almost hear the horse and buggy pull up. It has been modernized just enough for our 21st century sensibilities to be comfortable. Since we were early we had the dining room to ourselves and it felt very colonial. The staff were fantastic. The food was great too. The chef obviously has a strong New Orleans influence. My jambalaya balls and shrimp etouffe were very authentic. Well worth the drive from Rochester. We shall return. ”
